Layout History

Butley Mills was originally built by Iain Rice as an exploration of P4 modelling. Having changed hands a couple of times over its forty year history, it is now owned by SHMRC member Andy Vincent. The layout is currently being restored by relaying track, replacing point motors, re-wiring for DCC and adding uncouplers. The opportunity is also being taken to convert the layout to EM gauge.
